The MD69BR/BO is a Bearing Repeater Bowl specifically designed to fit all Marine Data Systems standard mounting options, as well as for flush surface mounting.

OVERVIEW

The MD69BR/BO is a dual scale NMEA-based heading repeater that comes as a bowl-only option, making it perfect for retrofit, replacement, or panel mounting. It is purpose-built for taking both celestial and terrestrial bearings.

This model features a 36:1 precision dual scale compass card display, which allows for digital heading data (the ship’s heading) to be conveniently shown at any appropriate location on a vessel. It is also fully sealed to meet IEC 60945 Exposed Area Classification standards.

APPLICATIONS

This is the standard MD69 bearing repeater bowl, which can be mounted into the MD69BR Trunnion, Bulkhead Bracket, or Pelorus stand. It duplicates the heading display of a ship’s magnetic or gyro compass at a convenient location on the vessel. Additionally, it allows for celestial and terrestrial bearings to be taken when used with the MD69AZI Azimuth Sight or the MD69BC Bearing Circle. For detailed azimuth measurements, the MD60A2K Telescopic Alidade is recommended.
